At the moment I am working on my masters degree at the SRH University Heidelberg which I hope to finish on time in september 2018. In the past, I graduated as a game developer at the same location with a B.SC.
During my student internship, I worked at Upjers GmbH in Bamberg and created some nice puzzle games and wrote a lot of tools to speed up the development.
Ever since I first got in contact with video games, my passion for them was born and only kept growing stronger throughout the years. Not only did I find great joy in exploring the worlds famous gaming studios like Naughty Dog and Valve - just to name a few - have created, I also always wondered how they work and what it takes to create games on my own. Eagerly motivated by the thought of finding this out and mastering the art of creating games, I decided to study game development in order to become a professional developer.
During my time in school and later university, I not only learned how to write code, but also fell in love with programming. Out of all aspects in game development, my biggest fascination lies on game engines. I always wanted to write my own engine that could be used to create and run games that bring people joy. In the past I wrote a few small game engines which are listed on this page as side projects.
Despite my current work on mobile titles, I am highly interested in creating games for pcs and consoles and hope to do so in the future!
